Meet Our Founder
Samantha Meininger
Hi. Welcome to SGM Tutoring. I am a senior in high school, and I live just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. As an all A student, I have always loved both learning and teaching. I enjoy problem-solving and making sense of how ideas connect to one another. I also have a passion for creative writing and making home-cooked meals for family and friends!
I began tutoring in middle school and quickly realized how effective peer-to-peer learning can be. Students often connect more easily when they “speak the same language.” That belief led me to start SGM Tutoring in 2022, where I work with students in a variety of subject matters and also train peers to become confident tutors.
Outside of academics, I have been a long-time dancer. I was a two-year captain for my high school dance team. I also lead my school’s Best Buddies chapter, which was recognized as the 2025 Massachusetts Chapter of the Year. Through all of these experiences, and more, I’ve learned how much I enjoy helping others grow. I hope to help your student build confidence and reach their goals. I am excited to continue tutoring through my college journey in the Fall of 2026!
